| Brow
lift is performed from 3 approaches.
Endoscopic brow and forehead lift is
performed via small incisions in the
hair to elevate forehead and brow. Direct
brow lift is performed via incisions
above the brow in the forehead or hairline.
Internal brow lift is our most common
approach and is performed in conjunction
with upper blepharoplasty. Through the
blepharoplasty upper lid crease incision
the brow fat pad is sculpted and inferior
tethering is released to allow the brows
to be raised. The frown lines between
the brows (glabellar folds), can be
improved and the medial brow elevated
by removing the corrugator muscles provides
a permanent Botox-like effect. |
